We take the indicators every trader knows and fix their typical weak spots: trend context, range filters, volume context, clear long and short logic.

Now showing: Trend-Aware Oscillator

Trend & momentum

Instead of RSI Β· Stochastic

Trend-Aware Oscillator

The problem: β€œOverbought = sell” fails in trends. An oscillator can stay overbought for weeks.

Puts RSI and friends into trend context. Overbought in an uptrend shows as strength, oversold in a downtrend as weakness.

  • Eight oscillators to choose from: RSI, Stochastic, Stochastic RSI, Williams %R, CCI, MFI, WaveTrend, Fisher.
  • Trend filter via EMA, ADX/DMI or both.
  • Pullback marks only in the direction of the trend, long and short.

Instead of MACD Β· TSI Β· TRIX Β· AO

Range-Filtered Momentum

The problem: MACD and friends cross constantly in sideways phases. And a MACD of 50 means something else on BTC than on EURUSD.

Greys out range phases and marks crosses only while the market trends. ATR normalisation makes values comparable across markets.

  • Seven sources: MACD, TSI, TRIX, Awesome Oscillator, ROC, Momentum, Elder Ray.
  • Range filter via ADX, Choppiness Index or both.
  • Alerts for crosses in trend and for the start of a trend phase.

Instead of EMA Β· SMA

MA Suite

The problem: Eight separate averages on a chart give you eight lines, but no statement.

Up to eight moving averages in one indicator, condensed into one number: the trend alignment score.

  • SMA, EMA, WMA, HMA, VWMA, RMA or DEMA, also from a higher timeframe.
  • Score per MA: +1 above a rising average, βˆ’1 below a falling one, otherwise 0.
  • Crosses of MA 1 and MA 2 are marked and available as alerts.

Instead of ADX Β· DMI

Trend Regime Meter

The problem: A high ADX says a trend is strong. It does not say in which direction.

Turns ADX, +DI and βˆ’DI into one clear state: uptrend, downtrend, range, trend building or trend fading.

  • A trend starts above ADX 25 and only ends below 20, so the state does not flip constantly.
  • Rising ADX inside a trend shows strengthening, falling ADX shows fading.
  • Works on its own or as a filter for other tools.

Volatility & stops

Instead of Bollinger Β· Keltner Β· Donchian

Volatility Bands Pro-Read

The problem: β€œPrice touches the upper band = sell.” In a strong trend price can walk along the band for a long time.

Draws Bollinger, Keltner or Donchian and reads the band behaviour: band walk in trends, mean reversion without trend, squeeze.

  • Band walk colours the bands green or red, in both directions.
  • Mean-reversion candidates appear only when ADX shows no trend.
  • Squeeze dots mark compressed volatility. The release does not predict the size of the move.

Instead of ATR Β· Supertrend

ATR Trailing Stop

The problem: Fixed percentage stops ignore volatility. ATR stops adapt, but flip constantly in sideways markets.

Volatility-based trailing stop for long and short with a range filter against whipsaw flips and a live readout of the stop distance.

  • Chandelier or midpoint style, the stop only moves in the direction of the trade.
  • Without a trend a flip needs extra distance (default 0.5 ATR).
  • Table with direction and distance in ATR and percent.

Instead of ADR Β· ATR (intraday)

ADR Range Meter

The problem: Intraday traders often do not know how much of the daily move has already happened.

Shows how much of the average daily range is used today and where the day would end on a full ADR.

  • ADR targets close in on price during the day and form a funnel.
  • Counts how often each weekday reached its ADR on your symbol.
  • For intraday charts from 1 minute to 4 hours.

Volume & VWAP

Instead of OBV Β· A/D Β· CMF

Volume Flow Confirm

The problem: Raw OBV or A/D values cannot be compared with price.

Puts volume flow and price on the same scale and answers one question: is volume confirming the move?

  • Four states: confirmed rise, confirmed decline, rally without volume, decline with hidden buying.
  • Choose the source: OBV, Accumulation/Distribution or Chaikin Money Flow.
  • Dots on the zero line mark volume spikes. Needs a market that provides volume.

Instead of Volume Profile

Naked POC Profile

The problem: A normal volume profile forgets old Points of Control once the period is over.

Builds a profile per day, week or month and carries forward every POC that price has not traded back to yet.

  • Profiles with value area (70 % of volume) and POC.
  • Naked POCs extend to the right until price touches them.
  • Table shows how often POCs were revisited within 5 periods, with the sample size.

Instead of VWAP

Multi-Anchor VWAP

The problem: The standard VWAP has one anchor. Watching several means stacking indicators without a common scale.

Session, weekly and monthly VWAP plus two automatically anchored swing VWAPs from one consistent calculation.

  • Swing VWAPs start only after a confirmed high or low. Nothing is redrawn into the past.
  • Table shows the distance to every VWAP in ATR.
  • The background marks bars where several VWAPs converge.

Levels

Instead of Daily Open Β· Weekly Open

Open Retest Stats

The problem: β€œPrice always comes back to the open.” Whether that holds can be measured on your own chart.

Measures how often price returns to the daily or weekly open after leaving it and how long that usually takes.

  • Only counts after price has moved at least 0.15 average ranges away.
  • Statistics over the last 250 periods, including the historical chance from the current distance.
  • Completed bars only, no lookahead.

Instead of Pivot Points Β· Fibonacci

Key Level Confluence

The problem: Every pivot, every previous high, every Fibonacci line on the chart: that quickly turns into noise.

Collects the levels most traders watch and highlights only the prices where several independent sources meet.

  • Previous day, previous week, pivot points and Fibonacci of the last swing.
  • Zones above price are red, below green. More sources, stronger colour.
  • Table with the nearest zone above and below, including the distance.

Risk

Instead of Position Sizing

Risk & Position Planner

The problem: Entry and stop are set. Position size, risk after costs and a possible losing streak usually are not.

Turns a trade idea into numbers before you enter: position size, risk : reward before and after costs, break-even win rate.

  • Click entry, stop and target on the chart. The script detects the direction, long or short.
  • Stop check: distance in ATR, below 1 ATR it gets flagged.
  • Shows what a losing streak would do to your account.

FAQ

What do the scripts cost?

Nothing. All scripts on this page are free and open source. You can read the code on TradingView.

Do I need a paid TradingView plan?

No. A free TradingView account is enough. The free plan only limits how many indicators fit on a chart at once.

Do I have to sign up with you?

No. The buttons go straight to TradingView. The email list is optional.

Are these buy and sell signals?

No. The scripts show and filter. They do not tell you what to do and they do not promise results.

Which markets do they work on?

The scripts run on the markets TradingView offers. Volume Flow Confirm, Naked POC Profile and Multi-Anchor VWAP need volume data. ADR Range Meter is built for intraday charts.

New scripts by email

We keep building. Sign up and we will send you new scripts, setup cards and guides. You do not need this for the scripts on this page.
